Elias Schreml, a freshman at Arkansas representing Germany, placed second overall in the men's mile in 3:57.85 at the Razorback Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville. Schreml, competing in his first career indoor mile, took second to British athlete and adidas professional Charlie Grice, who clocked 3:57.39.
